In short
Plenty of carousels have good content and a weak look: too much text per slide, small type, five colours fighting each other. You do not have to rewrite them. Attach the old carousel, say what to keep, and ask for a new design.
Steps
Get the old carousel as a PDF
If you posted it on LinkedIn, you already have the PDF you uploaded. A Canva or PowerPoint file can be saved as a PDF.
Attach it and say what to keep
Write one line: keep every word, or shorten the text, or keep the slide order. The designer reads the PDF's text and sees each page as an image.

Say what should change
Name the problem: more white space, larger type, one accent colour, your brand colours. If you like a website's look, name the site in the brief, or pick one of your brands.
Generate and compare
Put the old and the new version side by side and check that nothing important went missing.
Keep the words, or improve them too
| You write | What happens |
|---|---|
| "Keep every word and the slide order" | The same text in a new design. A slide with a lot of text gets smaller type to fit. |
| "Shorten the text to one idea per slide" | The points stay, the words get cut, and the slide count can change. |
| "Keep the content, make it 8 slides" | Slides are merged or dropped to reach the count. |
What carries over
- Photos inside the PDF are read for their meaning, not cut out and reused. To keep a photo, attach it as a separate image file and say which slide it goes on.
- Charts in the PDF are read as content. The designer can redraw simple bar and line charts from the numbers it reads. Check every figure.
- Your logo goes on every slide in the same place when you add it to a brand. See adding your logo.
Then fine-tune
Click any part of a slide and write what to change, or right-click to retype a line yourself. See editing by comment and editing by hand.
Questions
Can it redesign a carousel I made in Canva?
Yes, once you download it from Canva as a PDF. carouselgen does not open Canva files directly.
Will the new carousel keep my exact wording?
Ask for that in the brief. The designer is told to keep your facts and not invent any, but read each slide against the old one before you post.
Can I reuse the new design for future carousels?
Yes. Any finished carousel can be the template for the next one: same fonts, colours and slide styling, new words.
