Terms of service
Last updated: 7 October 2026
1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of carouselgen (carouselgen.com), run by Kardashev Catalyst UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Trierer Str. 6, 50676 Köln, Germany. The service is for businesses within the meaning of § 14 BGB, including freelancers and the self-employed, not for consumers. By signing in and with every purchase you confirm that you act for such a business.
2. The service
carouselgen uses AI to make LinkedIn carousels from what you write and attach, and changes them from your comments. One carousel is free as a preview; export and the share link come with a single purchase or a plan, as described on the pricing page. AI output can contain mistakes. Check every carousel before you post it; we do not promise any particular reach or result.
3. Your content
Your text, files and logos stay yours, and so do the carousels made for you. You give us the rights we need to store them, process them with AI, show them and export them. You only upload content you have the rights to and that is lawful; we may remove content that breaks the law or these terms.
4. Prices, payment and cancelling
The prices on the pricing page when you buy apply, including VAT. Payment runs through Stripe; the invoice comes by email. A single purchase covers one carousel. A plan runs monthly, renews for a month at a time and can be cancelled any time for the end of the paid month, under “Manage billing” in your account or by email to simonorzel@gmail.com. We announce price changes for running plans at least six weeks ahead by email; you can cancel before they apply.
5. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not promise a particular rate. If we shut carouselgen down, we tell you at least three months ahead so you can export your carousels.
6. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For simple negligence we are only liable for breaching essential obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Whoever posts content is responsible for it.
7. Changes and final provisions
We announce changes to these terms at least six weeks ahead by email. German law applies; the place of jurisdiction is Cologne where permitted. If a provision is invalid, the rest stays in force. How we handle data is in the privacy policy.
These terms will be reviewed by a lawyer before launch. The German version is the binding one.
