In short
The free plan exports PDFs and images with a small "carouselgen.com" mark in a corner of every slide. That is the price of free, and it is the only difference in the file. Paid plans take it off.
On the free plan
The mark is forced on, and there is no switch to remove it. You can still export as PDF or images, and you do not need to sign in to do so.
On a paid plan
The mark is no longer forced. The toolbar has a Stamp control with a switch for it, and a choice of the carousel's own fonts for how it is set, so you can keep it as a quiet credit or leave it off.

Is there anything else hidden in the file?
The slides are plain HTML drawn in a browser, then saved as pictures. The PDF's metadata names carouselgen.com as its creator, and the exported PNG images carry no metadata chunks, as checked on 12 October 2026. Pictures drawn by the illustration model were not checked.
Other differences by plan
The free plan has one edit round per carousel, no drawn illustrations and no share link; paid plans add them. See the plans.
Questions
Can I just crop the mark out?
The pages are pictures, so you could, but the paid plans are there for people who would rather not.
Does the share link show the mark?
On a paid plan the mark is off unless you turn it on, and the page shows a small "Made with carouselgen" line either way.
Does a carousel I exported earlier lose its mark when I upgrade?
A file you already exported keeps it. Export it again after upgrading.
Try it on your own carousel
Make a carousel from a short brief, then use this feature on it. It takes about a minute to get the first draft.
