How to turn customer reviews into a LinkedIn carousel

Real words from real customers, one per slide. How to choose the quotes, get permission, keep them word for word, and add names and photos.

Updated 2026-10-15

In short

A customer saying it convinces more than you saying it. A testimonial carousel is simple: a cover, one quote per slide, a close. The work is choosing quotes that say something specific.

Choose the quotes

  • Pick quotes that name a result or a moment ("we stopped losing invoices") over general praise ("great service").
  • Ask each customer before you post their words, name and photo.
  • Keep each quote short enough to read on a phone. Our rule of thumb is about 30 words. Shorten one only with the customer's OK.

Steps

  1. Put the quotes in the prompt box or a text file, each with the person's name, role and company.
  2. Attach portraits as images if you have permission, each named after its person.
  3. Write in the brief: "word for word, do not change the quotes".
  4. Generate, then compare each quote with the original.

Never invent a review

Make the carousel only from reviews you actually received. carouselgen is told not to invent facts, so do not ask it to write quotes for you either: made-up testimonials mislead readers, and consumer protection rules in many countries forbid them.

Questions

Can I use reviews from Google or G2?+

Check the platform's terms, and ask the reviewer if you name them. Copy the words into the brief; carouselgen does not read review sites.

Can each slide show the customer's logo?+

Yes, with their permission. Attach the logos as images and say which slide each goes on.

How many quotes per carousel?+

Five or six is plenty. Make a second carousel later rather than one with fifteen.
